This project’s work scope consisted of two (2) new pipelines; a 1,525 lf, 20″ diameter high pressure line between the CINGSA Process Facility and Marathon’s KNPL Pipeline; and a 1,265 lf, 16″ diameter high pressure line between the Process Facility and the Gas Storage Well Pad.  Approximatly 670 lf of the 16″ line was installed using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) under Beaver Loop Road and Bridge Access Road In the City of Kenai.

Portions of the pipeline traveled through private property which necesitates added coordination, communication, security, safety and owner/community involvement.

The entire project was completed with an outstanding safety record without an incident or accident.
