CONAM was the mechanical subcontractor to take-up the existing 29 year old Nikiski Products Pipeline, realign the outfall and replace with 1,600 lf of 10″ diameter line. The project location required a water approach for mobilization of equipment and materials, and helicopter for the workforce.

The concrete coated pipe was prefabricated onshore into 280 lf lengths and then pulled into the water using an offshore anchoring system. The final offshore weld tie-in, was performed in 30 feet deep water. The 50 lf wide by 300 lf long ROW area had to be initially cleared and returned to pre construction conditions at completion.
